Who We Serve · Government & Public Agencies

Government & Public Agency Construction

Renovations, capital improvements and facility repairs for cities, counties, courts, utilities and public agencies across Northern California. Native American owned general contractor since 1983.

Public buildings answer to everyone: the people who work in them, the public who visit them, and the procurement rules that govern how the work gets bought. TDI® has worked in city halls, maintenance yards, courthouses, public safety facilities, park facilities and utility operations centers across Northern California, and we know how to deliver a project that stands up to all three.

What we build for public agencies

  • Facility renovations and tenant improvements: offices, public counters, meeting rooms, staff areas
  • Capital improvements: flooring, slab and underground utility work, ceilings, doors, accessibility upgrades
  • Maintenance yard and operations buildings: shops, fleet facilities, storage
  • Repairs after unexpected damage: rebuilding affected areas so the facility can serve the public again

Built for public procurement

  • Native American owned (Cherokee)
  • Minority business certification through the NMSDC and the California Supplier Clearinghouse
  • Licensed general contractor for commercial, industrial and residential work since 1983
  • Written scopes and estimates that fit purchasing and approval processes, with documentation available on request

How we work in public buildings

Most public facilities cannot close for construction. We phase the work, keep work zones separated from the public, and coordinate access, badging and security requirements with your facilities team before the first day on site. One point of contact keeps your project manager informed from walkthrough to final inspection.

Have a facility project, a capital improvement on the books, or an RFQ coming up? Call TDI® for a walkthrough and a free written estimate.
